Pets, people, landscapes. I can be commissioned to create almost anything!
I am so glad you’re here. I have a passion for creation and being able to make these pieces for you to enjoy brings me so much joy.
Each piece is an individual work of art, using acrylic paint on canvas or pastel pencil on paper from your chosen photo. This is the perfect gift for that friend or family member that is impossible to buy for. Also the perfect gift to treat yourself with too.
You will see examples of my work in the gallery below, however, I am open to being commissioned to create almost anything.
All of the information you need - from how the process works, to pricing and FAQs - you will find on this page, but if there is something specific you would like to know or ask, drop me a line at hello@tarnimichellecreative.com.

PAINTING FAQs
-
Depending on the size you have chosen for your painting, allow up to 2 weeks, if there is likely to be a delay (due to high demand), I will let you know as soon as possible.
-
The medium is what is used to create the artwork. I use acrylic paint and pastel pencils (on separate pieces of course).
-
Scroll back up the page a little, you will see an image of the sizes I offer with an iPhone 11 for scale. Pricing for each size will be located just about this image.
-
Yes. If there is time pressure to have the piece completed, I need minimum 3 days** (this leaves enough time to paint the piece, for the paint to cure, then for the varnish to cure before shipping). This will incur an additional 35% on top of the final invoice (before shipping).
**3 days min. required to complete the painting, then shipping time is added to this, shipping times will vary depending AusPOST
-
Yes, I can ship anywhere in Australia. AusPOST express (tracked) is what I use and I will provide the tracking number upon completion of the painting. This will incur a flat fee of $15.00AUD
-
Of course! I will deliver to the following postcodes;
3550, 3551, 3555, 3556, 3515
-
Yes, please get in touch with me, let me know your city, zip/area code and country and I will be able to provide an approximate shipping cost to you.
-
Sure do! Most commissions I have had have been for animals, but people are fun to paint too.
-
Absolutely, get in touch with me and I will be able to quote based on the size of canvas and the amount of pets/people you’d like done.
-
Either is fine. I paint the face only, so if you don’t have a photo of the pets/people together in one photo, separate photos will work just fine.
-
You will need to get written permission from the photographer before I can use it as a reference as the photographer will retain the copyright to the images they produce.
-
Of course you can! I encourage this. If you have a colour in mind, perhaps its a colour you associate to your pet or loved one, a colour to match/compliment your house (or the intended house), more than happy to use your chosen colour, or if you have no idea, we can discuss options.

Yes. Sharing my work is how I grow my small business and attract new clients. It may be featured on my website or posted to my social media pages.
If the piece is intended as a gift, I will wait until the gift is given to keep that ‘element of surprise’, if there is a reason you would rather not disclose, just let me know that you don’t want the image shared online.
